Are you called to be an equipper within the body?
There is such a need in the church today to equip the saints so we can aim to coming into the fullness of unity. This need never left the church, it just has been pushed aside due to programs, and filling the pews and making the church building look pretty. The problem with those works is just that – most times these works do not push people into their destiny – at times it does just the opposite, and we see people leave the church.
As one that helps in equipping others for the service of the Lord – the one aspect of the Kingdom that needs be seen and heard above all else is, the love of the Father has to be demonstrated at all times. If we are equipping without love, we should not be in that role, period. Perfect love casts out all fear!
While ministering in love, (at times) we do not even need to seek freedom because we are proclaiming love that releases freedom in the room. As we learn how to move in our calling – may the spirit of wisdom fall upon us.
If you have a burden to equip, ask yourself – why do I have this desire and where did it come from. Many have a spark of desire, but such desire needs to be tested to make sure it is a desire from heaven and not one that has been pressured upon you. To walk days, months or even years in the wrong place or calling – hinders you and those that you are walking with. If you are called to function in this role – here are a few basic things that will show in your walk.
So, are you an equipper? What motivates you? Are you a follower or leader? What is you purpose to lead others? What do you want to gain out of being an equipper? These are questions that need to be answered with a humble heart.
Just a few thoughts for the day.
Blessings,
